Hello! I am the author so I guess I should be the first to 'Blog' the book, 'The Ark Community'. It is a project that I have had on my mind for years.
My wife and I have lived in three communities over the years, the first was a Deep Sea Fishermens Mission, the second was a Conference Centre at the top of Mount Carmel in Israel and the third was managing an Ex-offenders Hostel in London.
I served five years in the Army, but my main working life was in the aircraft instrumentation, Software Configuration Control manager.
As indicated on the web site, it was obvious to me and my friends that society was heading for a fall and there seemed to be very little anyone could do about it, my attempts I made at the various communities above only taught me that these were not good enough.
I dreamed of a community that would really change things, at least for those within the community, it was not a dream to 'change the world'.
I decided to write the book hoping if anyone ever read it that it just might stir something in their hearts.
Dennis.
